Lake Rotorangi Hazard Report

 TrustPower recently commissioned Discovery Marine Ltd to undertake a survey of lakebed features between RL 73.5 m and RL 76 m greater than 2 metres from the lake edge. The purpose of the survey was to identify and map potential hazards to lake users that may be present when the lake is at or near the bottom of its authorised operating range during summer (RL 74m).

The following Lake Rotorangi Hazard Identification Survey report details the findings of that survey undertaken in July 2011. The relevant maps are also available at each of the following boat ramps at Lake Rotorangi for information purposes:
